Assurant Telephone Operator in Miami, Florida

Receive and extend calls on the Cisco soft phone.


  1. Evaluate calls received on the Cisco soft phone and expedite calls to the proper person/location/department.

  2. Communicate with customers in an enthusiastic, helpful and professional manner, while offering value added service.

  3. Communicate with other Assurant departments/locations on behalf of customers when escalation is necessary.

  4. Monitor and report phone issues or call routing problems to Team Lead or Supervisor.

  5. Collect and handle customer complaints, in written form.

  6. Participate in Switchboard staff meetings.

    High school diploma/GED

    Spanish speaker preferred
