Supply Planning Manager
Key objectives include ensuring safe days' supplies of inventory are maintained across D8 Markets, developing Supply Planner capabilities across the markets and sourcing plants, mitigating out of stock and obsolescence risks, and setting up a Gold Standard level of customer service. In that sense the Supply Planning Manager. will support the “Product” expansion in the US, Europe, LATAM, China and Middle East leading the following areas:
Create and maintain an integrated sourcing plan for pods from the D8 Plant in P.Rico as well as for vessels & accessories from China and other potential sourcing places.
Lead the Ingredient Supplier Identification and diversification, to support D8 innovation agenda and the D8 brand/product proposition.
Commercialization and execution leader for all the new product introductions (pods) and new drinking devices and accessories (vessels, poppers, bands, lids).
Setup Foundational tools with markets and suppliers: i) S&OP and Collaborative Forecast programs; ii) draft and implement Service Level Agreements between D8 Plant and Vessel & Accessories supplier with all the markets.
To accomplish all these objectives will partnership with D8 Contract manufacturing Manager, Marketing, Innovation, BUs Supply Chain and R&D teams
Work with D8 Plant in Puerto Rico, Vessels supplier in China and all the D8 market leaders to design a master supply plan which fulfills multiple products from multiple markets demand.
Develop processes, tools and systems with D8 Plant will to i) ensure Ingredients and packaging supply into the Plant, ii) manufacturing and shipping plan vs actual track for pods and vessels & accessories; iii) set up Inventory’s level base lines and conduct periodic analysis on D8 sourcing sites and D8 markets on weight, % as finish prod, and $ value; iv) issue and distribute reports to the management and stakeholders.
Lead the implementation of S&OP and Collaborative Forecast meetings/calls for a joint analysis of the supply & demand evolution, setting up KPIs to review forecast accuracy, orders fulfillment, trends and impacts on the inventory replenishment cycles, safety stock levels, freight costs evolution, raw materials obsolescence exposure and finish product expiration risk.
Translate all the KPIs and operational agreements into a Service Level Agreement between D8 Sourcing Sites and D8 Markets
Chair recurrent calls between demand planners from D8 markets and production planers from D8 sourcing sites, to periodically review KPIs performance, and using data analytics, generate a consensus on the actions needed between stakeholders.
Issue and distribute KPI’s reports as a pre reading materials for recurrent calls with D8 markets and D8 sourcing sites (Puerto Rico and China) as well as consolidate data and produce an executive summary to present to the leadership team
Keep developing strategic sourcing partners with logistics vendors as well as with ingredient and packaging suppliers, to support the D8 Innovation agenda
Developing strong working relationships with all key cross functional partners in Contract Ops, Production Planning, Demand Planning, Integration Mgr., Warehouse and Transport teams. Lead Commercialization and Execution of the Innovation managing the Launch Preparedness Agenda
Maintain Supply Planning systems, settings, and data integrity
