KLX Inc Quality Assurance Customer Engineer II - Miami, FL in Miami, Florida

OBJECTIVE:

Under general supervision, responsible for product excellence and implementation of quality assurance programs to provide defect free products to all customers.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status

  • Conducts monthly customer quality reviews with customers and internal KLX organization.

  • Conducts Corrective Actions Board (CAB) with customers.

  • Drives root cause corrective actions (RCCA) with customers, suppliers and internal KLX organization

  • Ensures RCCA meet customer requirements and response time

  • Lead all on customer scorecards metrics to achieve a 100% rating

  • Leads all purge activities and ensure containment is within 48 hours globally. Makes final disposition on product non-conformances

  • Works with customer on RMA product and submits documents for MRB approval

  • Writes quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections plans for customer products

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related field of study

  • 4-6 year's of related work experience

  • Working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100

  • Advanced MS Office skills

  • Aerospace Industry knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Lean Principles

  • Six Sigma certified

  • Knowledge of FAA regulations

  • Professional Quality certifications (ASQ, CQE, CQA)
